WORK GOES ON AT WAPPENSHALL

Another couple of days of progress at Wappenshall. On Friday we managed to dodge the showers and get the final basin slab joints sealed. More bricks were laid to the retaining wall and get closer to finishing this job too. Our friends from the Stafford Riverway Link managed to fit another brick window arch to the small warehouse and repair more of the brickwork on the north gable end of the building. Saturday saw us low on volunteer numbers but those present managed to almost finish the bricklaying to the retaining wall.
