- Rubber Seal at NE end. 1978. This was needed to retain a seal as the aqueduct expanded and contracted.
- Source was from Arthur Osbourn, March 2012 from his home at Applecroft, Eaton Constantine. Arthur was with the 2nd Wellington Scout Group and he reckons the photo was from c 1947. The trip was from Norbury Junction towards Shrewsbury.
