Just received this email from Lezley Picton’s PA:

Dear Bernie

It is with regret that I have to inform you that Lezley Picton is unwell and will not be able to attend the Members Meeting and AGM on Saturday 11th May 2024, following an appointment with the doctors today. She is very disappointed that she has to miss the event which she was looking forward to attending.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and the other members. We hope that the event goes well.

It is far too close to the event to get another speaker now, but Michael Limbrey will be giving us an update about the progress being made on the Montgomery Canal. Please let anyone else you know that is coming to the AGM, but not on the Internet.
