WAPPENSHALL – THE RETAINING WALL IS STARTED

In miserable weather, over Friday and Saturday 20th/21st November, “Team Wappenshall” did a fantastic job to get the first 16 feet section of the East Basin’s new retaining wall built. This involved making the formwork sections from sheets of 18mm plywood and strong timber to take the weight of the concrete that was poured, by hand, into the “mould” that the formwork made around the reinforcement frame. Just another 9 sections to go now!
