Exhibition at Abbey Station

We were very pleased to be offered the opportunity to put on an exhibition of our plans and progress at The Shrewsbury Railway Heritage Trust’s recently restored Abbey Station, opposite Shrewsbury Abbey. The exhibition ran for five days and drew in many locals, plus a number of visitors to the town from as far away as Tywyn, Tenerife and Cyprus.

Included in the exhibition were displays and video presentations covering various aspects of our work on the Shrewsbury & Newport Canals but there was a particular focus on our activities in Shrewsbury, especially the work at Berwick.
