WAPPENSHALL EAST BASIN GETS READY FOR A CONCRETE POUR

The (rather depleted) team of William, John and myself managed to achieve quite a bit of progress today. All five concrete slab shutterings were put in place with the liner under them and all steel reinforcement mesh too. Not bad for a bunch of old codgers!

Here we manoeuvre the heavy steel mesh into place over the spacer rings.
A bit of adjustment and it’s in place! Only 4 more to do.
All five slabs are ready for the concrete pour now.
