AND THE RAINS CAME……!
Our regular work party volunteers were met with a shallow “swimming pool” on Friday 29th October when we first arrived. Heavy overnight rain had fallen that had raised the level in the East Basin over the top of the concrete slabs we have laid over past months. This needed to be pumped out before we could start work on preparing the next slabs to be poured. We have obviously done a good job to ensure no loss of water from the basin!
