At the regular work parties last Friday and Saturday 17th/18th September, another 5 basin slabs were levelled, prepared with polythene liner, support ring spacers and reinforcing mesh, then concreted.

Here the team are spreading the concrete into the first slab under the large Transhipment Warehouse
William inserting the timber laths that will later be removed and filled with elastic filler to enable expansion/contraction of the concrete
