BERKHAMSTEAD’S RESTORATION PROGRESSES

Last Friday 25th September the boats’ restoration team managed to do a great deal more on the “butty” Berkhamstead.

This was the state of the flaking paint of hull’s sides.
All flaking paint removed, ready for re-painting.
Mike Mee tackles the rust on the gunwales.
Phil Jones clears the holes for the skylight.
Cabin before painting and new floor being fitted.
After being painted the new floor was fitted.
