Please book now for our IWA Branch’s annual Autumn Social & Talk, which this year will be held again at The Boathouse restaurant at Ellesmere on Friday, 18 October.

Our speaker will be Malcolm Bridge, who will take us through a brief history of electric boating and discuss its advantages and disadvantages. He will also tell us about his experience of electric boating with nb Ampère, including the Calderdale floods, a trip to Ireland and passing through Dudley Tunnel. As well as being a long-standing IWA member and a work party organiser for WRG North West, Malcolm is well known in electric boating circles. With the current interest in possible ways to mitigate emissions from internal combustion engines, we are sure this will be a very interesting and popular topic.

We need to know our booking numbers by Monday, 23 September, so please confirm your places as soon as possible. We know this is asking you for a prompt decision, and hope you will be able to join us.
