NORBURY CANAL FESTIVAL
Our Festival will be on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May 2023 from 10am to 4 pm each day. Boat moorings for the rally are now full. Any enquiries should be emailed to Julia Olsen norburyharbourmaster@gmail.com Stalls are also just about full, enquiries should be emailed to Christine McDougall norburystalls@gmail.com The car park is FREE, so please don’t park on the lanes as this causes traffic jams – especially if farm vehicles can’t get past parked cars.
There are 36 boats in the rally that range from traditional to modern and include our Heritage boats, Bainton and Berkhampstead. There will be a wide range of food offerings available from curries, burgers and ice creams to a mini street food area, plus great meals in both the Wharf Cafe and the Junction Inn. Entertainment includes a busker playing on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, plus Kerry Young – 3.30pm – 6.30pm on Saturday and Stone Cold Sober ish – 3.30pm – approx 6.30pm on Sunday in the pub. There will be bouncy castles, an assault course and a giant slide for the kids and Alpaca Trekking where you can pet the alpacas, providing great photo opportunities. On Monday from 1pm there will be the popular folk band “Half Cut Folk” performing on Norbury Wharf. So, why not come along for a great day out?
