Last working party at Wappenshall in 2021

The last Friday and Saturday working parties were held at Wappenshall last weekend. We managed to prepare and pour another 4 concrete slabs in the East Basin despite wet, muddy and cold working conditions. We now have only 11 slabs to pour to complete the East Basin base. This means the teams of volunteers have poured 89 concrete slabs since July last year, in sometimes very, very hot or very wet conditions. Mainly thanks to William Jones our team leader and the dumper and JCB drivers.

Our brick layers are making good progress on the East Basin retaining wall.
