SPONSOR NEEDED TO RESTORE OUR BOATS

Our historic pair of 1936 Woolwich Class boats are in need of restoration. The estimated cost is £100,000. Bainton and Berkhamstead are on their way to Norbury Wharf where they will be restored. The boats will then be used as a floating classroom at Wappenshall Wharf for all visitors to learn about these rare craft and the part they played in the Golden Age of our canals. If you can help, please either go to the home page of this website www.sncanal.org.uk and click on the “Donate Now” button, or if you prefer, please send a cheque payable to SNCT, to Brian Nelson, Brookfield, Wroxeter, Shrewsbury, SY5 6PH, or make a payment direct from your bank to our CAF Bank account at sort code 40-52-40 account number 00024342 using your full name as reference. Many thanks!
