JULIE SHARMAN VISITS WAPPENSHALL

Canal & River Trust’s Chief Operating Officer, Julie Sharman, took time out from her busy schedule to pay our volunteers a visit at Wappenshall’s work party yesterday. Julie took a great interest in all the work that was going on and particularly commented on the number of volunteers that had turned out on such a miserable day in the middle of December. In the photo below Jim Weir (on tallest scaffold tower), Mike Mee and Marion Weir can be seen working hard on the West gable end wall of the Transhipment Warehouse and Julie, facing the camera, commented “I’m really impressed to see the enormous progress that has been made since I was last here two years ago.”
