WAPPENSHALL BASIN SLABS ARE COMPLETED
The amazing team of volunteers at Wappenshall poured the final 3 basin slabs yesterday. All 101 are now completed! We really should have some sort of “topping out” party (or should that be “bottoming out?” Started on 26 September 2020 working 2 days/week (except for pandemic restrictions) it has been an enormous job of which the team can be justifiably proud. Thomas Telford would have been proud too, as it will last another 200+ years.
